Security SIG (Special Interest Group) is a voluntary professional organization for UC Berkeley campus employees who:
- Are responsible for managing the security of servers and/or desktop computers;
- Supervise those responsible for managing servers and/or desktop computers;
- Train, communicate with, or provide technical assistance to users about security issues, software, settings, and issues.
Security SIG is dedicated to the free exchange of information, resources, ideas, and tools via presentations and discussions at periodic meetings on campus.
