Happy summer! The Information Security Office (ISO) has been busy safeguarding campus and modernizing our digital infrastructure. A key component of this work is our IAM Modernization Program, which delivers security improvements and upgrades to the Single Sign-On experience. We are expanding our team through several open recruitment efforts and have officially assumed management of the systemwide IS-12 IT Recovery Policy, extending the compliance deadline to Sept. 1.
As we head into nicer weather, we want to stress that we’ve seen a sharp rise in cyberattacks hitting research. We aren't just talking about annoying spam; we’re seeing real Berkeley impacts that hurt our community.
