The UC Berkeley Information Security Office (ISO) has created Tableau dashboards that contain the campus' IS-3 Unit Assessment data. The dashboards are a data visualization and reporting tool to help Units and campus leadership track and analyze compliance with IS-3 as part of our Cyber Risk Management Program.
There are three Tableau dashboards to aid in measuring progress across campus with IS-3 compliance:
- Unit Dashboard: This dashboard can be used to track compliance progress and IS-3 assessment scores across your Unit(s) while also measuring up against peer Units or the entire campus.
- Risk Analysis Dashboard: This dashboard can break down trends across IS-3 categories and specific security controls. You can also view IS-3 compliance by Risk Tier (High, Medium, or Low) and Unit Type (Academic, Administrative, Research). Risk Tiers are an internal categorization of Units based on the security risk the Unit faces (e.g. based on data classification, data volumes, amount of critical IT infrastructure and services, etc.). This dashboard can help identify meaningful IS-3 compliance trends across similar Unit types.
- Survey Responses Dashboard: This dashboard is a quick way for Units and leadership to view their detailed IS-3 assessment responses for any survey they have completed. Units will only have access to their own assessment data, while campus executive and security leadership can view any Unit's survey responses. This dashboard serves as an alternative to logging into SaltyCloud Isora to view assessment data.
NOTE: Access to the IS-3 Unit Assessment Tableau Dashboards is limited to Unit Heads, Unit Information Security Leads, Assessment Managers, and campus leadership.
